PHYSIQ – What’s That?

With body contouring on the rise I wanted to talk about the PHYSIQ! The PHYSIQ is a non-invasive body treatment that uses deep tissue heating and electrical muscle stimulation to target tissues. You can use each modality separately or the provider may choose to utilize the STEP technology. STEP is when the device alternates between both modalities during one session. Depending on your body type and goals the provider will guide you through the best treatment plan.

A typical office visit will last about an hour for one area. There are 4 applicators that may be used during the procedure depending on the area being treated. These applicators are small enough to work on the arms but big enough and powerful enough to treat larger areas such as the abdomen. Once the procedure is done you will drink plenty of water and massage that area twice a day for two minutes. It’s as easy as that!!!! Treatments are usually done one week apart and are sold in packages of 5, 10, or 15.
